The two most common Doodles are Goldendoodles and Labradoodles. We have many of each for sale on our website, but there are also many other Doodles. Other Doodles include Bernedoodles (Bernese Mountain Dogs and Poodle),
Labradoodle and Goldendoodles
If you've found this blog post, you're more than likely seeking information regarding the different variations and mixes of these crossbreeds.
F1 Variations
The F1 variation is 50% Poodle and 50% Golden Retriever/Labrador. These are the first generation of golden/labradoodle pups. The F1 variation is not the most ideal for people with allergies, as they do still shed. These dogs have curlier hair than other generations and variations.
F1B Variations
The F1B variation is 75% Poodle and 25% Labrador Retriever. This variation is the most hypoallergenic variation of doodles. They only shed 1% of the time. These dogs are very healthy and have the same lovable traits as the earlier variations. F1B Doodles have more color variation and can have short, long, curly or wavy coats.
F2 Variations
This generation/variation of pups is a cross between two F1 Labradoodles. They do shed more than an F1B Doodle, so they are not as hypoallergenic. They have the same favorable characteristics as the variations before them.
